Cement is the nation's preferred construction material. Approximately 35 percent of the company's cement volume is sold in bags through distributors and retailers, and the remainder is sold in bulk primarily to ready-mix concrete operators, including industrial customers and construction companies. The company's ready-mix concrete customers range from big construction companies to individuals.
In April 2006, we implemented a plan to expand the production capacity of our cement plant by 1.0 million tons per year to meet strong domestic demand. We expect to complete this expansion in 2008.
